We each have an inner creator that is waiting for the space to express the inner visions that want to be seen and metabolized. So many of us have not had the safe and uninhibited space to entertain these visions, to disarm the inner critic and to give oneself permission to playfully explore these tender creative sparks that lay dormant or barely breathing in the center of our being. Creativity is our birthright. We come into the world as master creators and tragically, this profound ability to be the conscious creators of our lives and our experience is conditioned out of us. Art Class is place to reconnect with the parts of ourselves that are longing to have a voice. The parts of ourselves that want to be seen, expressed and cultivated. Through a mixture of meditation and creative process we will breathe life back into these parts and reclaim the joy and freedom that comes with the expression of our inner visions.

This class is for anyone between the ages of 10-20 who feel called to explore creative process at a deeper level and do some self-reflection along the way. I will be introducing different media and process each week and you are welcome to take or leave whatever is being presented with the goal of you learning to trust the call of your own inner visions.

The adult version of Art Class is the most unfiltered version of this offering. We will be doing all of the same things that are explored in the standard art class but with total freedom to be unedited. This is the class for you if you would like free reign to explore grittier themes of death, loss, human tragedy, existentialism, etc. Going into dark content is by no means a requirement but it is also welcomed here and anyone that signs up for this class should know that these heavier themes may come up to be seen and released.
